My Story

Originally born in Austria I was raised in a small village close to the famous ski resort Kitzbühel in Tyrol. Ironically, I was never good at skiing nor liked the cold and living between high mountains. ;) It turned out I was a much better fit for water than mountains and so I spent most of my youth in the local swimming pool, becoming a very good competitive swimmer and a national champion in 200 m butterfly. (My wide shoulders are a relict from those times). Unfortunately developing asthmatic issues in my teenage years prevented me from becoming an olympic swimmer, which had been my big dream. Luckily I had another talent: public speaking and performing and so I left my village and moved to Vienna to become an actress.

After graduating from the Vienna Conservatory of Performing Arts I worked as an international actress and voice-over artist. I played leading parts in acclaimed stage productions such as Lady Macbeth, Catherine in Taming of the Shrew and Clytemnestra in Germany, Poland, Mongolia, Siberia and at the Young Vic in London. My TV and film credits include playing Dr. Klein in 8 Seconds-produced by Till Schweiger and Queen Catherine in Kösem Sultan, the most popular Turkish TV show. My first documentary "A Journey back to the Roots" was awarded Best Documentary at the Antakya Film Festival.

Holding a Master of Arts in Physical Theatre from Manchester Metropolitan University, I worked as a TV actress and taught movement and voice at Yeditepe and Halic University in Istanbul...the city of my heart, my true home, where I lived and worked for seven years. I love and respect this magical city so much, because it shaped me into the strong and confident woman I am today- not everything is pink and fluffy when you live in a muslim country as a European woman, working in the film industry before "me too" times...

When I moved to London in 2016 I was introduced to corporate theatre. Since then I have been working as an actress and lead facilitator for various leadership training programs at London based Steps Drama Development and Mercuri International, using role play to inspire change in corporate behavior. It was also around that time when I became a black belt in kickboxing, which inspired me to found BlackBeltPresence. Read about it in my The BBP Method section.

In 2018 I joined the W-focus team. I developed and have  been leading the presence training and Leadership-In-Action programs since.

Today I am based in Munich/Germany. I am fluent in German, English & Turkish and speak French & Italian on an intermediate level.  Outside of work I enjoy my pole dancing and kickboxing practice, I love driving my convertible and I try to swim in the beautiful lakes of Munich's surrounding as much as I can.

I'm a cat & small dog person :)
